Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Blay on their 62nd wedding anniversary!!!
In 1949 Luis Muñoz Marín became the first democratically elected Governor of Puerto Rico, the first recorded case of snowfall in Los Angeles, California occurred,the Goldbergs, the first sitcom on American television, airs, Cuba recognizes Israel, the first Israeli election -- David Ben-Gurion becomes Prime Minister, the Tucker Automobile Corporation folds, Israel joins the United Nations and the Blays celebrate getting married! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Blay on September 17, 2011 for celebrating their 62nd wedding anniversary! Mrs. Blay has recalled falling in love with Mr. Blay while going to High School. Mr. Blay would wait at the corner of the street to carry her books to school! Mr. Blay was 18 and Mrs. Blay was 16 at the time they were married. Congrats again to a wonderful couple and may you have many more years to come!
